Alexander Dennis wins hydrogen bus tender

UK – British bus manufacturer, Alexander Dennis Ltd of Larbert, UK (a subsidiary of Canada’s NFI Group Inc), has been selected by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority to supply 20 hydrogen-powered double decker buses.

The 20 Enviro400FCEVs have been developed on ADL’s next generation H2.0 platform and will be powered by a Ballard fuel cell power module alongside a Voith Electrical Drive System. This tender represents the first order of ADL’s second-gen hydrogen platform.
