GreenPower Motor Company launches integral electric school bus

Canada – Canadian electric vehicles manufacturer, GreenPower Motor Company, which is based in Vancouver, has launched an all-electric monocoque school bus. The Battery Electric Automotive School Transportation (BEAST) was showcased at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Long Beach, California.
The 40-foot bus offers a range of 240 km, powered by a 194 kWh battery and a Dana Inc. TM4 electric drivetrain. Designed as a monocoque chassis, GreenPower claim that the BEAST is the safest and most durable battery powered school bus on the market.
