Jacobs and Tula sign new cooperation agreement to strengthen cylinder deactivation technology

USA – Jacobs Vehicle Systems, based in Bloomfield, Connecticut, and Tula Technology Inc of San Jose, California, have announced a cooperation agreement aimed at accelerating the development of Jacobs’ CDA cylinder deactivation technology in conjunction with Tula’s diesel Dynamic Skip Fire (dDSF) control algorithms.

The agreement builds on two years of research and development collaboration between the two companies to reduce NOX and CO2 emissions from medium and heavy-duty vehicles, helping to meet ever-tightening environmental regulations.
