Peterbilt receives order for some of Canada’s first Class 8 electric trucks

Peterbilt Model 579EV purchased by Kruger Energy

USA / CanadaPeterbilt Motors Company, a truck manufacturer and subsidiary of Paccar Inc based in Denton, Texas, USA, received an order for two electric trucks from Kruger Energy, a division of Kruger Inc of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, which Kruger claims will be among the first all-electric Class 8 vehicles to enter service in Canada. The trucks, which will carry goods between Kruger’s facilities in Quebec, are scheduled to begin operation by the end of the year.
