VDL receives order for 25 new gen electric buses for service in Finland

Netherlands / Finland – VDL Bus & Coach BV, a subsidiary of the VDL Groep based in Valkenswaard, the Netherlands, has received an order for 25 electric buses from Oy Pohjolan Liikenne AB, a bus operator based in Helsinki, Finland. This represents VDL’s first major overseas order for its new generation electric model, which enters production in late 2022 and is expected to be delivered to Finland in 2023.
