Sweden / USAVolta Trucks AB of Stockholm, Sweden, announced that Sibros Technologies Inc of San Jose, California, USA, will be supplying telematics software for the Volta Zero – the company’s 16-tonne electric truck which is set to enter service by the end of the year.

The partnership between the two companies entails the integration of Sibros OTA1 Deep Logger software with the Volta Zero, in order to provide real-time vehicle and fleet data to customers. The software platform generates driver alerts, information on charging infrastructure and navigation, and data relating to vehicle servicing, insurance, and maintenance, thus aiding both drivers and fleet operators in carrying out operations. Volta Trucks hopes this support will bring increased productivity and profitability to its customers. Moreover, the company will also share relevant information through the platform with its business partners, leveraging data in decision-making and business strategy.
