Volkswagen delivers the first Delivery trucks to Mexico

VW Delivery truck for Grupo Modelo in Mexico
Brazil / Mexico - Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Ltda of Resende, Rio de Janeiro (a subsidiary and brand of the Traton Group) has started delivery of 281 trucks to Mexican brewery company, Grupo Modelo. The order, which includes different versions of the Delivery and Constellation truck models, marks the first time VWCO has an export order for the Delivery truck from Mexico. More specifically, the order comprises 11 Delivery 9,170 units and 96 Delivery 11,180 model trucks, as well as 112 Constellation 17.230 and 62 Constellation 24.280 model trucks.
The trucks are being produced at the Resende plant in Brazil, and the models have been tailored to the specific needs of the Modelo Group’s operation.
