Renault Trucks to build the UK’s first fully-electric skip-transporter trucks

France / UKRenault Trucks SAS, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group based in Saint-Priest, France, is partnering with Recycling Lives Ltd of Preston, UK, to deliver the UK’s first fully-electric skip-transporter trucks. They are slated to enter service in early 2022 for use in daily operations. The news was announced at Freight in the City Expo 2021 in London on 28 September.
