Perrone Robotics partners with Roush Industries to streamline production of autonomous driving technology

USA – Perrone Robotics of Crozet, Virginia, USA has announced a partnership with Roush Industries Inc, a full-service product development organisation and subsidiary of Roush Enterprises Inc based in Livonia, Michigan, to facilitate the production of Perrone Robotics’ autonomous drive retrofit kit for a wide range of vehicle types and applications.
Roush Industries will support Perrone Robotics in marketing its autonomous driving technology, ‘TONY’ (To Navigate You), for a range of applications, including transit shuttles, low-speed electric vehicles, electric utility and cargo vans, and medium to heavy trucks. Perrone Robotics hopes that, with Roush Industries’ help, the company will be able to shorten production lead times and streamline customer delivery cycles. Roush Industries will also provide installation services for the company. Through this collaboration, Perrone Robotics aims to deliver a scalable production model for its technology.
