Clarience launches heated rear lights to prevent snow and ice build-up

USA – Truck-Lite Co of Falconer, New York, a subsidiary of Clarience Technologies of Southfield, Michigan, has introduced heated rear brake lights aimed at reducing the build-up of ice and snow on light fixtures.

The heated Super 44 and 60 series LED lamps are continuously warmed once the temperature is detected below 7°C (45°F). The company states that heated lights can prevent damage to trucks and trailers caused by poor visibility, reducing weather-related shipping delays.
