Concentric AB acquires e-pump and component manufacturer EMP Inc

Sweden / USA – Swedish component manufacturer Concentric AB, based in Linköping, has announced the acquisition of Engineered Machined Products Inc. (EMP), a producer of electric and mechanical oil and water pumps, electric fans and thermal management systems based in Syosset, New York. Concentric purchased EMP in cash for approximately USD147 million.
Now that EMP is onboard, Concentric can offer its customers electric and mechanical components that can operate across zero-emission or conventional powertrains. Additionally, EMP's thermal system capabilities gives Concentric the ability to supply fully integrated cooling systems.
