Cummins announces 15 litre natural gas engine for North America

USA – Cummins Inc., based in Columbus, Indiana, has announced a new 15 litre, six-cylinder natural gas engine for the North American markets.

Cummins states that the new engine is a core component of its pathway to zero emissions, with the strategy also focusing on powertrains including diesel, hydrogen engines, hybrids, battery electric and fuel cells. This product line-up will help Cummins to reach its PLANET 2050 environmental goals which aim to reduce the emissions from newly sold products by 30% by 2030, and a goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
