HELLA doubles production capacity at Shanghai facility

Germany / China – Automotive component supplier HELLA KGaA Hueck & Co., based in Lippstadt, Germany, has announced it has doubled the production capacity of the company’s plant in Shanghai, China.

Due to an increase in demand for HELLA’s electronics solutions, the company added a new building to the facility alongside remodelling the existing space. With a total area of 50,000m², Shanghai is now HELLA’s largest electronics manufacturing centre, employing around 1,600 people.
