Olectra Greentech to operate 100 electric buses for APSRTC and intercity e-buses between Mumbai to Pune

Hyderabad / Karnataka – Olectra Greentech Ltd (formerly Goldstone Infratech Ltd) through its strategic tie-up with BYD Auto Industry of Shenzhen, China, and its sister concern, Evey Trans Pvt Ltd (EVEY)1 of Hyderabad has received the order to operate 100 e–buses for Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) under the FAME-II scheme2.
Olectra is to supply 100 K7 electric buses3 on Gross Cost Contract (GCC) / OPEX model basis. The value of this contract is approximately USD18.92mn value. These buses shall be delivered over the next 12 months, and the maintenance of these buses shall be undertaken by Olectra during the contract period of 12 years.
