Tata Motors delivers 35 e-buses to BEST, as a part of a larger 340 e-bus order

Mumbai- Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai has delivered 35 of its STAR AC electrically-powered buses, which is a part of a larger order for 340 electric buses to Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST).

The buses been procured by BEST under the government of India’s FAME II initiative in Gross Cost Contract (GCC)² by BEST. Tata Motors has been commissioned to undertake to build, deploy, maintain, and operate the complete charging infrastructure along with the e-buses.
