Ford trials pre-production E-Transit van

USA – Ford Motor Company of Dearborn, Michigan, has announced the start of a pilot program in the USA to test pre-production models of its new E-Transit van. The scheme is operating through Ford Pro, the company’s service and distribution unit.

The firm has delivered the first pre-production models of the E-Transit to operators such as Penske Truck Leasing and National Grid, who will test the vehicles in the rental, delivery, service, maintenance, telecom and utilities sectors to assess the capabilities of the vans.
