GenCell and E.V. Motors partner to supply off-grid EV charging systems

Israel – Fuel cell solutions manufacturer, GenCell Ltd of Petah Tikva, Israel, has announced an agreement with electric vehicle, charger, and storage systems importer, E.V. Motors of Netanya. Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate on a project integrating GenCell’s alkaline fuel cells with E.V. Motors’ charging technology to enable hybrid off-grid electric charging powered by ammonia.

The joint system is expected to be ready for initial deployment in Israel by the end of Q2 2022. In addition, the companies will also consider expanding the cooperation to similar projects in China and other nations via E.V. Motors’ partner network.
