Vicinity Motor signs distribution agreement with ABC Bus Companies

Canada / USA – Vicinity Motor Corp, a bus manufacturer based in Aldergrove, British Columbia, Canada, has entered a distributor agreement with ABC Bus Companies Inc of Faribault, Minnesota, USA, for Vicinity Motor’s line of heavy-duty mid-size buses and its ‘Vicinity Lightning’ battery-electric buses.
ABC operates dealership locations across the USA and will provide parts and services to customers along with Vicinity Motor products. The deal marks another step in Vicinity Motor’s expansion into the U.S. market, which began with the ground-breaking for a new manufacturing facility in Ferndale, Washington, on 9 July of this year. All vehicles produced here from early 2022 onwards will be ‘Buy America’ compliant1, so the company claims.
