Jacobs enters strategic partnership with Microgrid Labs

USA – Bloomfield, Connecticut-based CV component manufacturer Jacobs Vehicle Systems Inc has announced it has entered a strategic partnership with Boulder, Colorado-based provider of commercial fleet electrification and microgrid specialist Microgrid Labs Inc. (MGL). Jacobs will use the investment and strategic relationship with Microgrid Labs’ to expand upon its own offerings in the vehicle-electrification space.
Jacobs will take advantage of MGL’s technical capabilities to support the firm’s offerings in the vehicle electrification space. MGL offers its EVOPT software as a platform for modelling, simulation, and optimisation of electric vehicle fleets, charging infrastructure, and energy infrastructure.
