Sweden / Germany Volta Trucks AB, a designer of electric truck concepts based in Stockholm, Sweden, has received a pre-order for nearly 1,500 ‘Volta Zero’ trucks from DB Schenker, the logistics division of Deutsche Bahn AG based in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The company claims it is the biggest order for large zero-emission trucks in Europe to date. DB Schenker is set to begin pilot testing in the spring and summer of next year.
