Strong rebound in CV sales continues in Indonesia despite sharp decline in GDP during Q3

Indonesia - The market for commercial vehicles over 2 tons gvw rebounded by over 89% to 33,195 in the third quarter of 2021, after plunging by 59% to 17,533 units a year earlier - according to www.AsiaMotorBusiness analysis of industry data. 

This was the commercial vehicle market’s strongest rebound yet from last year’s drop and came despite the imposition of social and business restrictions across the country at the beginning of July to fight a sharp surge in cases of COVID-19. . The restrictions were gradually lifted from the end of August and have been mostly removed since.
