Sales of commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, and minibuses) grew by 4.5% in Peru during January to September 2024 to 13,458 units compared with 12,881 units in the same period in 2023, according to the AAP.

Japan’s commercial vehicle market over 2 tons gvw continued to decline in the second quarter of 2024, by over 6% to 81,114 units from 86,752 units a year earlier.

Sales for commercial vehicles over 2 tons gvw in East Asia’s seven main markets, excluding China, continued to decline in the second quarter of 2024.

Domestic sales demonstrated significant growth as well, increasing by 52.8%, while production increased by 24.3%.
