pepper motion to develop new battery for CVs

Germany – pepper motion GmbH, an electrification specialist based in Denkendorf, Bavaria, announced that it is developing a new battery system for commercial electric vehicles.
Development started in October of this year under company CTO Dr Matthias Kerler and Michael Schön, head of Development Battery Systems at the company’s R&D centre in Paderborn, North Rhine-Westphalia where work on the new battery is taking place. The team is reportedly working on building a battery system with high power density which is also safe; the company stresses the importance of high power, robustness, and safety in battery systems, especially for commercial electric vehicles.
