Berlin orders 90 electric buses from Ebusco

The Netherlands / Germany – Ebusco Holding N.V., based in Deurne, The Netherlands, has announced an order for 90 Ebusco 2.2 12m electric buses from Germany’s largest public transport operator, Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG).

Ebusco has deployed vehicles in Germany since 2017 in the cities of Munich, Bonn, and Frankfurt, with a total of 54 buses already on German roads. As part of the order from BVG, the operator will have the option to order a further 60 Ebusco 2.2 buses within 12 months of the first Ebusco delivery.
