Concentric subsidiary wins USD27 million contract for HFC cooling fans

Sweden / USA – Manufacturer of pumps and thermal management systems Engineered Machined Products Inc. (EMP), based in Syosset, New York (a subsidiary of Linköping, Sweden-based component manufacturer Concentric AB) has announced an agreement to supply high voltage fans to an unnamed hydrogen fuel cell truck manufacturer.

With the contract worth USD27 million over a five-year period, EMP will supply high voltage fans for use in the cooling system of a flagship fuel cell truck. The motor and controller will deliver powers of up to 25kW using an 800V power supply. The fans feature a modular design, allowing them to be used within various cooling systems in EMP’s range.
