Voith releases positive results for FY 2020/21

Germany - Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA, a manufacturer of drive and braking systems1 based in Heidenheim, Baden-Württemberg, has released results for its fiscal year 2020/21 which ended on 30 September.
The company reported an order intake worth EUR5.02bn across the whole group, an increase of 24% on the previous year. Currency-adjusted sales amounted to EUR4.26bn, a 4% rise, while earnings before interest and taxes increased by 18% to EUR165m. These results were achieved despite, Voith claims, considerable disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic when production facilities had to periodically close.
