Solaris receives first hydrogen bus contract for Czech Republic

Poland / Czech Republic - Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o. of Bolechowo, Poland has signed a purchase agreement for hydrogen buses with transport operator Dopravní podnik města Ústí nad Labem, the first time the manufacturer has signed such a deal in the Czech Republic. The framework agreement provides for up to 20 hydrogen buses to serve in the city of Ústí nad Labem.
The agreement for the purchase of up to 20 ‘Urbino 12 hydrogen’ buses lasts for eight years and stipulates a 420-day limit on the fulfilment of orders. These will add to the near-100 hydrogen buses Solaris has already delivered to its customers; to date, Solaris has signed contracts with carriers from Austria, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and Italy.
