Brazil - January 1, 2022, saw Achim Puchert take over as leader and President of Mercedes-Benz do Brasil Ltda, responsible for Trucks and Buses in the Latin American region. Prior to this role, Puchert was Head of Sales for Daimler Trucks & Buses Overseas (DTO) and Head of International Sales, Marketing and Customer Services at Daimler Trucks Asia.

Karin Rådström, member of the Board of Directors of Daimler Truck AG, responsible for the Europe and Latin America regions and for the Mercedes-Benz Truck brand, said: “Achim Puchert is a manager with international experience and highly specialized in the commercial vehicle sector. Puchert founded the new sales organization 'Daimler Trucks & Buses Overseas' (DTO) in just one year and a half, with the aim of unifying under one roof all Daimler Truck products and services for the most important export markets.
