Brazil - The fall in registrations in Brazil’s bus and coach market fell modestly in 2021 by 2.5% to register 17,766 units compared with 18,219 units in 2020, according to data collated and supplied by Fenabrave (National Federation of Automotive Vehicle Distribution). Even with the gradual recovery of the economy and greater movement of people, the sector has not yet managed to recover the volume of sales it had before the covid-19 pandemic.

Registrations in the last few months of 2021 increased month-on-month: In December 2021, sales grew by 12.9% to 1,538 units compared with 1,371 units in November 2021. In December 2019 registrations totalled 1,551 units.
