Hankook exhibits airless tyre concept at CES

South Korea – Hankook Tire & Technology, based in Seoul, South Korea, has showcased its airless i-Flex tyre concept at the Consumer Technology Association (CES) 2022 show in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

The concept is aimed at the future of autonomous vehicles, where minimal maintenance and maximum safety become increasingly important issues. Targeting safety, the airless design removes the risk of accidents caused by tyre punctures and blowouts. In addition, without the need for air-pressure monitoring and refills, the concept improves the ability of vehicles to operate without human intervention.
