Clarience Technologies acquires telematics firm Fleetilla

USA – Clarience Technologies LLC, the parent firm to Truck-Lite and Davco, based in Southfield, Michigan, has acquired Fleetilla LLC, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Clarience hopes to integrate Fleetilla with its existing Road Ready telematics brand to develop what it calls the ‘next generation’ of telematics products.
Fleetilla has a customer base in vocational segments such as construction and utility, including products to monitor work trailers and trade equipment. Due to Clarience companies including Truck-Lite, ECCO, and DAVCO, offering products to serve the vocational truck market, the firm states that these relationships will be beneficial as Fleetilla seeks to expand their customer reach in these segments.
