DAVCO expands into electronics manufacturing

USA – Diesel fuel filtration specialist DAVCO Technology LLC of Saline, Michigan, a subsidiary of Southfield, Michigan-based Clarience Technologies LLC, has announced it is expanding into electrical components manufacturing. The investment comes as DAVCO seeks to capitalise on the growth of electric commercial vehicles, while also addressing concerns that sales of its diesel products will soon begin to slow.
The firm will invest USD3.5 million in its Saline, Michigan campus to create an Advanced Electronics Manufacturing Centre. DAVCO’s new plant will sit adjacent to its existing manufacturing facility and is expected to be fully operational by early 2022.
