Lightning eMotors provides electric powertrain for first electric motorhome concept

USA – EV retrofitter and manufacturer Lightning eMotors Inc, based in Loveland, Colorado, has announced it has been chosen to supply Winnebago Industries Inc, based in Forest City, Iowa, with an electric powertrain for its motorhome concept.

The concept of the Winnebago e-RV is the first all-electric motorhome designed by a major recreational vehicle manufacturer. Lightning has developed, integrated, and installed the powertrain in the vehicle.
