Faurecia completes acquisition of Hella

France / Germany – January 31, 2022 saw Faurecia SE of Nanterre, France acquire a controlling interest (79.5%) in family-owned automotive electrical lighting specialist, Hella GmbH & Co. KGaA of Lippstadt, Germany; the purchase agreement was announced previously on August, 14, 2021. Core components supplied to the automotive industry are listed under six categories of Seating, Interiors, Clean Mobility (HFCs and hydrogen storage etc), Lighting, Electronics and Lifecycle solutions.
The acquisition represents an investment of EUR5.3 billion.
