Oshkosh reports 91% drop in net income for final months 2021

USAOshkosh Corporation of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, a company which owns several brands involved in the manufacture of specialty trucks,1 has reported a net income of USD6.2m in the final months of 2021,2 a 91% decrease compared with net earnings of USD69.5m in the same period of 2020. 

These stark figures were recorded in spite of a 13.7% increase in the group’s net sales to USD1.79bn compared with the previous year. Nevertheless, the group’s consolidated operating income decreased by 81.2% to USD18m, or 1% of net sales.
