Proterra to install solar-powered EV fleet charging station in California

USA – Proterra Inc of Burlingame, California is partnering with Scale Microgrid Solutions LLC of Ridgewood, New Jersey to build a so-called “microgrid”, a self-sufficient and small-scale energy system which, in this case, will be powered by solar energy. The microgrid will serve the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) in Santa Clara County, California when it comes online in late 2023.
