Fuso to offer green electricity through Orix Corp for its EVs

Japan – December 2021 saw Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (FUSO) of Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, announce it has agreed to collaborate with Tokyo-based Orix Corporation to provide clients of its battery-powered trucks with environmentally-friendly (green) electricity.

FUSO said it plans to offer buyers of its eCanter light truck with Orix environmentally-friendly electricity to help accelerate the decarbonization of the local logistics industry. The company plans to begin trial in selected regions in Japan before rolling out the service nationwide later in 2022.
