Volvo Trucks to launch electric truck in South Korea in 2023

South Korea / Sweden - Volvo Trucks Korea Co Ltd of Yongsan-gu, Seoul in February announced it plans to introduce a battery-powered heavy-duty truck onto the South Korean market in 2023, as it looks to strengthen its position as the leading imported truck brand in the country.

Park Gang-serk, president of the Swedish truck-maker’s local importer and distributor, told reporters […] “the South Korean large truck market is expected to recover to 10,000 units this year and demand for trucks will improve going forward”.
