Nova Bus receives order for up to 40 LFSe+ electric buses

Canada / USANova Bus Inc of Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Canada has received an order for up to 40 units of its new range of battery-electric buses from the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County in Texas, USA. The order represents the largest such that the company has received for the ‘LFSe+’ to date. 

An initial 20 units are set to be in operation in city of Houston in Texas by the fourth quarter of 2022, primarily on routes most adversely affected by road pollution. The contract also provides options to purchase up to an additional 20 vehicles. The LFSe+ city bus is powered by an electric motor from BAE Systems and is built in Plattsburgh, New York, USA.
