Sweden / DenmarkScania AB, a subsidiary of the Traton Group based in Södertälje, Sweden, has received an order for up to 100 electric trucks from Amager ressourcecenter (ARC), a municipal waste company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Two trucks were delivered in December 2021, while the rest are set to follow in the coming year through to the first half of 2023.

The contract includes a firm order for 72 waste collection trucks, 6 box-body trucks, and 1 hooklift truck, with options to buy an additional 23 vehicles. The trucks are fitted with low-entry L-series cabs, with most featuring the inward-opening Scania City Door; this was cited by ARC as a key selling point as it allows for quick and safe entry and exit on the passenger side.
