Thermo King to expand Greenville manufacturing facility

USA – Thermo King Corporation, a manufacturer of transport temperature control systems for trucks and trailers based in Bloomington, Minnesota, has announced it is to expand its operations at its facility in Greenville, South Carolina, adding nearly 300,000 sq ft to the existing structure. Completion of the extension is set for mid-2023.
The expansion of manufacturing capacity at the Greenville site represents an investment of USD30m, creating 220 new jobs at the facility. The company has already begun hiring staff in production, engineering, and administration. Thermo King’s project is supported by a USD400,000 grant from the state’s Coordinating Council for Economic Development.
