Meritor and Clarience Technologies forge strategic partnership in components connectivity

USA – Meritor Inc, a specialist in powertrains and brakes for commercial vehicles based in Troy, Michigan, has announced a strategic partnership with Clarience Technologies LLC, a parent of various electronics brands supplying the truck-trailer industries based in Southfield, Michigan, to develop connectivity products for trucks and trailers. As a first step in the agreement, Meritor will join Clarience-brand Road Ready’s partner network.
Road Ready is the developer of ‘LogIQ’, a trailer telematics network and integrated data platform which collects data on fleet assets and allows for communication between smart components. Road Ready customers have access to a management portal which presents simplified information on trailer fleets to operators, with the view to optimising fleet operations and reducing costs. With Meritor’s contribution, Road Ready customers look to benefit from data collected from braking, wheel-end, and tyre systems.
