ChargePoint rolls out cloud-based fleet charging solution in Europe

Netherlands – ChargePoint Holdings Inc, based in Campbell, California, has expanded into the European fleet market through a partnership with Picnic, an online-only supermarket that serves around 200 cities across the Netherlands, Germany, and France with its fleet of over 2,300 electric vehicles.
The deal will allow Picnic to make use of ChargePoint’s software, including charge management, range forecasting, and delivery route and schedule planning. Picnic’s fleet charges from conventional electrical sockets, meaning that ChargePoint has had to extend the charging capabilities that it normally deploys to external EV chargers directly to the vehicle’s onboard charger.
