Colombia to be first export market for VW’s e-Delivery trucks

VWCO e-Delivery truck

Colombia / Brazil  – Colombia is to be the first export country in South America to import the all-electric version of VW’s Delivery truck, the e-Delivery. Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Ltda (VWCO) of Resende, Brazil says it has been working with the Colombian government to enter the Colombian marketplace with its electric truck range.

Later this year, VWCO will start to export the VW e-Delivery truck from Brazil through Porsche Colombia SAS of Bogotá, the brand's importer and representative in the country for many years. One unit is already in the country for presenting to potential customers and demonstrating its operation, characteristics and benefits in terms of mobility for the cargo sector. In addition to the different body options, the e-Delivery is to have two gross weight options of 11-tons and 14-tons.
