Commercial vehicle market in Brazil on an upward trend in Q1 2022

Brazil – The market for trucks and buses in Brazil in the first quarter of 2022 generally saw growth, although the breakdown by weight segment shows that results were mixed, according to figures published by ANFAVEA.
Truck registrations rose by 3.0% to 26,852 (26,077), while production grew by 3.9% to 34,383 (33,082). Bus and coach registrations remained stable, with a 0.3% drop to 3,322 units (3,331), but production increased by 10.2% to 5,702 (5,176).
