South American CV market recovering strongly

South America - The top eight* South American markets for commercial vehicles (3.5t gvw and above) finished in 2021 with a total of 254,200 units registered, an increase of 42.2% over 178,800 vehicles registered in 2020 according to data released by AEADE (Association of Automobile Companies of Ecuador). These figures are based on data produced by similar entities in each South American country, AEADE states. 

Brazil led the Latin American market, with 142,700 units; followed by Colombia, with 35,600 vehicles and Argentina, with 26,300 in total truck and bus sales.
