USAPeterbilt Motors Company of Denton, Texas has announced that its medium-duty 536 and 537 trucks can now be ordered with a Cummins natural gas engine in place of a conventional diesel engine.

The 536 and 537 model trucks, launched last year, can be fitted with Cummins’ latest gas engine, the B6.7N, which provides 200-240 hp and 520-560 lb-ft of torque. It reportedly emits 50% less nitrous oxide (NOx) than the maximum allowed by current Environmental Protection Agency standards.
