Safra teases launch of new hydrogen bus

France – The Safra Group of Albi, France has announced that it is preparing for the launch of a new hydrogen fuel-cell electric bus this year. The bus, called ‘Hycity’, will be officially presented at European Mobility Expo in Paris on 7 June.
The vehicle to be showcased in Paris will be a 12-metre version, offered with three doors and a low floor throughout. An 18-metre variant is planned for launch next year. Safra states that the Hycity will incorporate feedback and learnings gained from the Businova, a hydrogen bus launched by the company in 2018.
