Navistar and Audi collaborating to improve school bus and emergency vehicle safety

USA / GermanyNavistar International Corporation, a commercial vehicle manufacturer based in Lisle, Illinois, USA, is partnering with luxury passenger vehicle manufacturer Audi AG1 of Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany to develop advanced safety features for Audi and Navistar vehicles, with the aim of improving school bus and emergency vehicle safety. 

The two manufacturers will leverage the connectivity features of the ‘C-2VX’, an onboard vehicular connectivity system developed by Commsignia Inc of Santa Clara, California, USA. They are looking to use it in two applications:
