Conti's new surface materials plant in Pune, India

India / Germany – Continental AG, based in Hanover, Germany, has inaugurated a new surface materials plant in Pune, India, to focus on the production of interior components in the commercial vehicle and automotive segments for the Indian market.

The 149,000 square feet (approx. 14,000-square-meters) manufacturing facility, with an initial annual capacity of five million square meters of surface materials can be scaled up to 10 million square meters. Landry Tchapda, head of the surface solutions plant said:
